This can refer to any father, the "Father" in Heaven, or even an earthly father.

In Other Languages

Although Greek speaking churches and those that come from them refer to their priests as “Father”, Nazarani instead use the biblical title, קשישא (“Qashisha”) in reference to their priests, since nobody is to be called "Father" on Earth.[1]

  • Latin = Pater
