In the Scriptures

There is no verse in the Aramaic New Testament where the context of the word "Sheol" (שאול) indicates any translation other than "grave".

When the Greeks translated the scriptures from Aramaic into Kioné, they used the name of the Greek god Hades (i.e. the pagan Greek god of the underworld) to refer to Sheol a total of five times. However, this philosophical construct adopted by Christians from Paganism and has nothing whatsoever to do with the teaching of Yeshue and His apostles.
